Solano #1 Cohort, CA
Together for 4 years
This Cohort lasts four years so relationships can strengthen, processes can develop, and internal structures can be built. Together, A Place-2-Live, Rio Vista CARE, and Solano Advocates for Victims of Violence meet quarterly to present grant proposals to each other, vote on new grants, share progress updates, and seek advice on new challenges as they build capacity and grow.
The mission of A Place-2-Live is to provide residential placement services for low to moderate-income families and life skills training, helping our clients become self-sufficient over time.
Founded 2004
The mission of Rio Vista CARE is to provide low-cost, professional counseling and family resource to better the lives of the citizens of Rio Vista as well as the surrounding area.
