Elena Perez has advanced racial, social, worker and climate justice in the Puget Sound region for over 15 years as a community organizer and nonprofit leader. She draws from deep experience in coalition building to support Magic Cabinet’s model of fostering long-term, respectful and collaborative relationships. As a granddaughter of Mexican immigrants, Elena continues to be inspired by ordinary people who accomplish extraordinary things; facing adversity with dignity and strength in order to set roots for themselves, their communities, and future generations.

In her free time, Elena enjoys spending quality time with family and friends outdoors, whether it be a neighborhood walk, a stroll in a park, or a hike at one of the many beautiful forests and mountains of the pacific northwest.
