Takema Robinson is a cultural strategist, executive producer, and philanthropy leader whose work bridges art, justice, and narrative power. As Chief Strategy Officer at Magic Cabinet, she guides the organization’s vision and partnerships, helping to move resources, ideas, and strategy in alignment with community-driven change.
Across more than two decades of leadership in philanthropy and culture, Takema has stewarded and influenced over $1 billion in philanthropic resources, building collaboratives and initiatives rooted in equity, accountability, and care. She is also the Executive Producer of the Academy Award–nominated documentary The Perfect Neighbor, and the founder of High Cotton Productions, where she develops films, exhibitions, and storytelling projects that shape public understanding and collective memory.
Takema’s work is grounded in a belief that storytelling and strategy are essential tools for community transformation. Outside of work, she is a mother to two boys and prioritizes rest as a practice of self-care, love, and sustainability.
