Morgan leads Philanthropic Solutions at Magic Cabinet, where she gets to spend her days thinking about what becomes possible when community wisdom, philanthropic capital, and the right relationships actually move together. She loves collaboration building the rooms, relationships, and infrastructure that connect communities to donors, donors to their peers, and people with shared ambitions to one another.

Before joining Magic Cabinet, Morgan served as a nonprofit executive, board chair, funder, advisor, and co-founder and Co-CEO of Threshold Philanthropy. But her path into philanthropy began with hospitality and gathering: running a 400-acre resort in Santa Fe and, during college, producing a calendar of events that somehow stretched from Thursday through Monday every week. She brought that instinct for bringing people together into philanthropy, where her through-line has been supporting people the way she has been supported and making connections that help people, ideas, and resources find one another. Morgan holds a degree in poetry and playwriting, training that still shapes how she works: turning the poetry of a better future into the prose of how we actually get there.

Outside of work, Morgan is a partner, dog mom, enthusiastic traveler, and rom-com TV devotee who believes vacation should involve very little hiking and conversation should involve plenty of wit. A California girl who sleeps best on airplanes, she’s equally at home with hip- hop and Mozart and is almost certainly thinking about what she wants to watch or where she wants to go next.
