Dimitri grew up in Seattle, and credits his passion for justice to his dad (hailing from the Chesapeake Bay–home of Harriet Tubman & Frederick Douglass). Prior to joining the Magic Cabinet team, he supported advocacy and program implementation work to build a more person-centered, equitable homeless response system, most recently leading the grantmaking and technical assistance team at Building Changes. At Magic Cabinet, he’ll leverage what he’s learned about walking alongside community members and practitioners as a Program Officer.

Dimitri lives in White Center in southwest Seattle with his beloved wife, dog, and five chickens. He fills his free time enjoying the city and friends, pursuing fitness goals, taking in art and performance, and (attempting) home projects.
